Whenever we receive superseding documents or notice changes in the information provided to us, we update our records accordingly. If the individual undergoing the testing procedure is unable to provide us with the required information, we may need to collect it from third parties, including nominated responsible persons (such as a relative or carer), healthcare professionals, hospitals, clinics, doctor surgeries, nursing homes, disability homes, disability support services, and other pathology practices involved in the individual’s care or who have referred them to us. Providing personal information is optional, but incomplete or inaccurate information can lead to delays in processing samples and releasing test results.
