The founder and managing director of Trials Genetics, Aadi Sharma, is dedicated to advancing the integration of PGx testing into Australia’s primary healthcare system. His personal experience with medication frustration spurred his commitment to revolutionize medicine and make PGx testing a common practice.
With a master’s degree in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics by research pathway, Aadi created the world’s first HADHA gene-deficient cells using CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, and he further investigated the secondary mitochondrial defects that result from the deficiency of this gene using those developed cells. In addition, he possesses 10 years of practical experience in NATA-accredited genetic pathology and clinical trials laboratory, where he has effectively managed samples, handled storage, and performed analysis. This wealth of practical experience makes him stand out as a proficient scientist.
